Well the countdown begins had some great publicity in both the Echo (friday 28th) and the Hamshire Chronicle (Thursday 27th) for our launch story, response has been really good lot's of you emailing asking questions which is really great also response to the survey is really interesting as they say we are listening and already making small changes that you would like to see if you have'nt yet filled in the survey please do as this will be YOUR radio station.
Launch of the new Facebook page and Eastleigh News complain about us using one of their images, could have sworn it was a public building!

Here we are in June and everything is on course for us However OFCOM have informed us that they are a bit behind with their publised dates, so we will just have to wait.
Meanwhile we have been out and about making contacts in the community and we are proud to welcome one community into the Spitfire fold, they have very kindly offered us accomadation for the studio at their headquaters in Romsey Road.
“Well OFCOM finally caught up with us and have now advertised the licence for our area, it is now up to us to put together a crediable case for Eastleigh which we have until October 20th to do so watch this space all getting very exciting now :)
